Balloon helium is an application designation, not a universal 4.6, 5.0 or 6.0 purity grade. Product composition may vary. Where possible, helium recovered from installations or outside strict industrial specifications can be given a suitable use in balloon filling.

Helium must never be inhaled. It can displace oxygen.

Not every volume of helium needs to meet the very high purity requirements of laboratories, medical systems or specialist industry. Helium outside those strict specifications can still be suitable for filling balloons.

Balloon helium is an application designation, not a universal purity grade such as 4.6, 5.0 or 6.0. Composition and product specifications can vary. It is supplied for balloon filling, not as analytical, medical or industrial process gas.

Where possible, recovered helium from installations is made available again. Matching quality to the application keeps a valuable resource in use and reserves high-purity helium for processes that genuinely require it.
